I Cut Off All My Hair! WHOO HOO!

Sorry, I don't have a picture to post, but I finally did it...I got my hair cut short. I've been wanting to do it for a while and finally got to the point that I was ready. Yesterday. And in a great Sign from the Universe, my hairdresser (who moved 2.5 hours away) was coming back to do hair. So, she popped in at 8 last night and took off over a foot of hair. You should've seen her...she was GIDDY with excitement. Why do hair dressers LOOOOVE to cut off long hair?

Right now, my hair is a few inches longer than in the picture below (which was taken at our wedding reception four years ago). I've been growing my hair out since Allie's 5th birthday (1998, so about 10 years), and I get sooooooooooo boooooored with it once in a while that I'm tempted to cut it short! I'm going through one of those bored phases right now and was wondering what I'd look like with Victoria Beckham's hair (even though I had that cut in 1998 before I started growing it out, but it wasn't blond...and I can't find any pix of it!).

I look absolutely awful with short hair! Isn't that hilarious? I didn't do too good a job PhotoShopping my face into Posh's hair, but who has time for that? It's done well enough to convince me NOT to cut my hair! ROFL!!!!!

Allie asked me to dye her hair black last week...well, it turned out more of a really dark brown-ish black, but she likes it (so do I). Then today she got it cut. I think it's so cute! She's alternating between having fun playing with it and getting frustrated when it doesn't do what she wants it to. :o)
