Wow, i've been sleeping in super late as of late. Late late! I woke up at 8:30 today. If you know me, you know i'm an unwilling early riser. It's the norm for my eyes to pop open at 5 a.m. as if an alarm had gone off. I dunno what it is lately...winter? Stress? Carb bingeing? Being exposed to unpleasant vibes? Meh, no matter. I'm too busy to worry about it and it will all work itself out anyway.
Until then, i'm going to edit 75 photos (today!), post them in a gallery, deliver an order, fill a couple last-minute orders and close my doors for the holidays.
{ P.S. Chris, i will answer your email after i close my doors for the holidays...i haven't heard of your electronica peeps, but i love electronica. I'm rather into dubstep right now...Oscillator Z, Inspector Dubplate, Vaski, Rusko...let's chat it up for sure! }

3 holla'd back:
Sounds awesome to me! I've been suffering a bit of a drought of new music lately, and that makes me feel listless and cranky.
Haha, this is one time you should count yourself lucky you're stuck out in the brown dirt -- if you were within range, I would so drop a ton of mix CDs in your lap at times like this. With 8,000 or so songs on my iPod that need to be heard by as many people as possible, I preach the good news of music like a zealot to anyone that will listen (or, anyone too slow to run away).
I might be overwhelmed with as great a multitude of tunes at that! Here's shameful confession: i can only listen to music in small doses whilst i work (which is non-stop this week). A song here, a song there. If i listen continually, i wind up scrolling and searching for new songs instead of working. ADD anyone?
And P.S. Todd's looking for jobs in VA.
Oops. Hope I didn't distract you with those links!
Yeah, I do that all the time. I leave the radio on (WNRN) in the other room a lot while I'm working on the computer, and I'll hear some song and think, "Hey, what was that? Lemme check that out..." Five hours and a couple dozen purchases later, I'm burning another disc or two to take with me the next day. When the muse speaks, I am powerless to disobey.
So a return to Virginia takes another step closer to reality, huh? Well, good luck! I guess I'll get started soon on your mix CDs to welcome you back, then. ;-)
